What does Memorial Day mean to you? A day of remembrance? First BBQ of the year? Beginning of the Summer? To most, if not all Whitestone residents, it means getting out the lawn chairs and watching the Whitestone Memorial Day Parade go by. The 2013 Whitestone Memorial Day Parade is in jeopardy of being cancelled due to lack of funding.

What can you do to help? The cost to produce the Whitestone Memorial Day Parade is about $10,000. We are asking the residents of Whitestone to help out in any way they can. Whether it be $100 or $1,000, any donation will be greatly appreciated!
